How to register?

Start CallRec.me app on your iPhone and fill in "I’m new to CallRec.me" form.

Is there a trial period of CallRec.me?

The trial period of CallRec.me is 14 days and it includes 20 Tier 1 minutes. To trial iPhone CallRec.me app, choose Quick Start option after you download and start the application.

How to record a voice note?

To record a voice note, go to Keypad tab and tap the Record button. Do not enter any phone number.

CallRec.me will start recording your voice note. When done just tap the End button.

You will find your voice note on the Recordings tab along with other recorded calls and voice notes.

What is the access number?

This is the number CallRec.me app is dialing in order to record your incoming phone call. CallRec.me will automatically choose the one closest to where you are. You can also manually set default local access number for CallRec.me to dial.

Starting from version 2.0, iPhone CallRec.me app records outgoing calls over the WiFi network and does not go through intermediate access number.

You'll also need to record through access number when you use CallRec.me manually.

How can I change access number CallRec.me dials by default?

You can manually set default access number if you start CallRec.me app then go to My Account view and tap "Access Numbers". Or, log-in to CallRec.me using a web browser and go to My Account section and select a country in the drop down menu available under "Dial in by country".

I've forgot my password. What should I do?

No biggy. Just get a new one issued right away.

Is there a CallRec.me application that I can install on my phone?

There is already an app for iPhone and we are cooking up apps for BlackBerry, Android and other phones.

I switched my iPhone - how do I log-in on replacement phone with existing account

Please log-in to your account at http://callrec.me/?login using web browser and go to My Account -> Your Phone, then click on "Unlink this iPhone" button. After this start CallRec.me on your new iPhone and log-in using your existing credentials.

How can I delete recorded conversations from iPhone?

The easiest and the fastest way to delete a recording is to open Recordings view and then swipe with your finger over the recording you wish to delete. Delete button will appear - just tap on it to delete the recording. Also, you can tap Edit button when in the list of recordings and you will be able to delete them easily.

How can I completely delete my recordings from CallRec.me servers?

After you login to your CallRec.me account from desktop browser, you can download the file to your desktop computer in case you want to save it, and click Delete button afterwards to completely remove it from our servers.

I don't have an iPhone. How can I use CallRec.me?

It's pretty easy - you can use CallRec.me on any phone from your web browser or manually. Learn more at How to Record page.

Will CallRec.me work outside USA?

Yes, CallRec.me works in any country.

How reliable and safe CallRec.me is?

CallRec.me development process follows secure software development best practices. The infrastructure CallRec.me uses to rely the service on is the best available in the market including its multiple levels of security and reliability. Additionally, we continue to add more access numbers, thus directly influencing the availability, reliability and quality of CallRec.me service. We are also working with phone companies to ensure the reliable access points on any of the access numbers and these efforts and improvements will only grow in the future.

How to order a transcription?

You can order human transcription of your recordings. To do so, open Recordings tab and tap blue arrow next to recording you wish to transcribe, then tap "Order transcription" box to have your recording transcribed.

I'm a subscriber of CallRec.me service. Can I purchase additional pre-paid minutes?

No, users can choose either to use pre-paid or subscription minutes. However, you may cancel your subscription any time and become a pre-paid user.

Can I continue to use CallRec.me when I spend minutes included in my subscription?

Yes, after you reach the limit, you will be able to continue using CallRec.me and will be charged for additional recording minutes at the end of the billing period. Please have a look at the pricing page for info about the price of additional minutes for your current plan.

What happens to my subscription if my credit card expires or I do not have enough credit on my credit card?

If we are unable to charge your credit card on the due date, we will send you an email reminder to update your Credit Card info.
You can update your Credit Card info if you open CallRec.me app -> My Account view and tap Buy More then tap “Billing Info”.
If we are unable to charge your Credit Card after three attempts, your subscription will be canceled and you will become a free member.

What happens with my pre-paid minutes if I want to switch to a subscription plan but I have some unused pre-paid minutes left in my account?

You will not lose your purchased minutes and you will be able to use them as additional minutes during your first subscription period (30 days).

How do I cancel a subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time if you open CallRec.me app -> My Account view and tap Buy More then tap "Cancel Subscription". You will then become a free member and will still be able to access and manage your existing recordings.

How do I renew a subscription?

Your subscription is renewed automatically at the end of each 30-day period.

How do I change my plan?

You can change your plan at any time if you open CallRec.me app -> My Account view -> Buy More and then choose one of the available packages. The new plan will become active when your current subscription expires.

Where can I learn more about CallRec.me pricing and packages available?

Pricing and description of the CallRec.me packages is available at our Pricing page.

Can I record incoming and outgoing calls with any one of CallRec.me packages?

Yes. With CallRec.me, and regardless of the package, you can record both incoming and outgoing conversations.

How can I choose the right package?

The easiest way is to keep in mind the location of the people you want to call and record phone conversations with. If they are in US, you should choose US package. If they are outside of US, you should choose Worldwide package. It does not matter where you are located.

Note that with any of these packages you can record incoming calls regardless of your location or where the call is coming from.

I am in the US and I want to record international phone conversations. Which package or plan should I buy?

You should buy Worldwide package or Worldwide plan because you will need Worldwide minutes to be able to record phone conversations with any country in the world.

I am not based in the US and I want to record conversations with US. Which package or plan should I buy?

You should buy any of the packages/plans that include Tier 1 minutes, because you will use Tier 1 minutes to record phone conversations with the US.

I want to record incoming calls only. Which package or plan should I buy?

For incoming calls recording, you can buy any of the packages/plans available regardless of where you are located.

Are there any additional costs to CallRec.me?

With iPhone CallRec.me app you can call and record calls with anyone in the world without spending your subscription (carrier) minutes.

When you record incoming calls or use CallRec.me manually, the only additional cost is the price of a regular call to CallRec.me access number.

This cost depends exclusively on your phone service provider's pricing and we have no control over that nor we get anything from it.
